Warranty in Plain English — By Market

Six months on her, five months on electrical components, plus whatever your own country's consumer law gives you on top.

Our warranty is an additional undertaking, not a replacement for your legal rights. Both are set out below.

What's covered

  • Manufacturing defects present from the start
  • Seams separating without an incident
  • Joints that never held correctly
  • Electrical options that fail within five months
  • Anything that doesn't match the specification you ordered and approved

What isn't

  • Accidental damage — tears from falls, snags, jewellery, fingernails
  • Wear — paint wear at high-contact points, surface marks over time. Normal, not a defect.
  • Storage damage — compression marking from months in one position. Preventable — how to store her without marking.
  • Dye transfer from clothing. A care issue, and usually removable on silicone — here's how.
  • Damage from misuse — pushing joints past their range, silicone lubricant on silicone, solvents, excessive heat
  • Failed home repairs on the area repaired. Ask us first.

Your rights depend on where you are

We sell worldwide from the US, so the legal protections behind your purchase differ by market:

Where you are What you have, on top of our warranty
EU / EEA A statutory conformity right of two years. It follows you as a consumer even though we're outside the EU, and we don't attempt to contract around it. [⚖️ VERIFY wording]
UK Statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act. [⚖️ VERIFY]
United States Implied warranty of merchantability under your state's law, and the protections of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act covering how a written warranty like ours must be honoured. [⚖️ VERIFY — these vary by state and some can be limited; a lawyer must confirm what you may and may not say here.]
Elsewhere Your local consumer law. Ask us and we'll tell you what we know.

Our warranty sits on top of whichever of those applies to you. It is an additional undertaking, not a replacement — and for the things it covers it's usually the faster route.

How to claim

Situation Window
Damage on arrival Within 48 hours of delivery, with photo or video
Warranty fault In writing within 7 days of the fault appearing, with photo or video
Send to [SUPPORT_EMAIL], with your order number

What to send: your order number · clear photographs in good light, wide and close · video if the fault is intermittent, which is common with electrical options · a plain description of when it appeared and what was happening.

What happens then: [VERIFY — your actual process. Who assesses it, how long, and what the outcomes are. Be specific; vagueness here undoes the credibility the rest of the page builds.]

The full claim guide

Before you claim

Four things that are quicker to check first:

  • Electrical fault? Check charge, connections and switch position first. [VERIFY]
  • Loose joint? Some are adjustable. The repair guide.
  • Staining? Usually removable on silicone rather than a defect. Here's how.
  • Not sure? Send a photograph anyway.

After the warranty ends

We keep answering. Owners email us years later about repairs, parts and care.

[VERIFY — do you offer a paid repair service after warranty? If so, describe it and give an indicative cost.]

Common questions

How long is the warranty?
Six months on her, five on electrical components. Your local consumer law applies on top — see the table above.

Is normal wear covered?
No — warranties cover defects, not wear. What ages, and how.

Does a home repair void it?
It can complicate a claim on the area repaired. Ask us before attempting anything.

What if I disagree with your assessment?
[⚖️ VERIFY — describe the escalation route, and reference the dispute-resolution mechanism named in the Company details.]
