Lift her off the bed and she leans into you. Her full weight settles against your chest, warm if you chose warmth, with her head tipping back over your arm. That is what people mean when they say a heavier doll feels real, and they are right.
But that weight is 30 to 50 kg, depending on the build, and it is the most common reason buyers have regrets. The number isn't hidden, because it is usually printed. The problem is that 40 kilos with no handles feels nothing like 40 kilos of anything you have lifted before.
This page convinces quite a few people to choose a smaller build. We publish it anyway, because otherwise you might end up with a doll that lives in a box.
How much does a sex doll weigh?
There is no single answer, and any seller who gives you one is rounding to keep things simple. Across the silicone bodies we sell, the manufacturer's own measurements range from about 26.5 kg to 49 kg for the body, and the head adds another 2 to 3 kg.
So a slim build weighs about 29 kg when it arrives, and the fullest build in our range is over 50 kg. That isn't a small range. The heaviest is nearly double the lightest, and it is the most important number in your whole build.
The configurator shows the weight of your exact build. Check it before you confirm, not after. Build your doll.
There are two things the number alone doesn't tell you.
The weight isn't spread evenly. Most of it is in her torso and hips. If you lift from the wrong place, you aren't just lifting 40 kilos. You are lifting 40 kilos at the end of a lever.
There is nothing to hold on to. A packed suitcase has a handle made for the weight. She has limbs, and they put the force exactly where the material is thinnest and where the skeleton has joints. That is why lifting her by a limb is the fastest way to a repair we would rather you never needed.
What it really feels like
Lifting her is the easy part. Most physically able adults can lift 40 kg once, even with poor technique, and be fine.
Repositioning her is the real work. That means moving her from a bed to a chair, rolling her over to change her storage position, sitting her upright, and dressing her. Dressing her means lifting a limb, holding it up and working with one hand. That is where moving a heavy weight around is very different from just lifting it.
It doesn't get easier as you get used to it. Good technique helps a lot, but the weight stays exactly the same.
A test worth doing before you order
It takes ten minutes, and it is the most valuable thing you can do in the whole process. We would rather you did this than read another one of our pages.
Go and lift something of a similar weight. Don't use a dumbbell or barbell, because those are designed to be lifted, balanced and gripped. Find something that shifts around and has no handle, such as a large bag of sand or compost, a full suitcase you are not allowed to hold by the handle, or a packed duffel bag.
Then don't just lift it. Carry it ten meters. Set it down on a bed. Roll it over. Pick it up off the floor again.
If that is a real struggle, choose the 152 cm build. It has the same silicone, the same finishing and the same approval photos, and it costs less. A doll you can move comfortably is a doll you will use.
Technique
Always support her torso. Put one arm under her upper back and one under her thighs. Her torso is where both her weight and her strongest structure are.
Never lift her by the neck, wrists, fingers or ankles. This is the most common cause of avoidable damage, and the wire in her fingers is especially likely to wear out and break. Her joints and thin areas are not meant to carry weight.
Use two people for anything awkward, especially stairs, doorways and unpacking on delivery day. The crate weighs more than she does. It is usually 40 to 67 kg in total and about a meter and a half long. Plan for this before the delivery arrives, not while it is sitting on your doorstep.
Clear the path first. Injuries to you and to her happen in doorways and on stairs, often while you are changing your grip halfway through a move.
Bring her close to your body before you lift. The farther away she is, the more strain her weight puts on you.
Let her warm up to room temperature first. Cold silicone is stiffer and more easily damaged when you handle it. This matters if she has been in a cold hallway or an unheated room.
What adds weight, and where
Every option that adds weight makes her harder to move, and where the weight goes matters as much as how much there is:
- Height and frame make the biggest difference. The fullest builds in our range are 20 kg heavier than the slimmest.
- Bust size and breast gel add weight high on her body, and weight up high works against you when you lift.
- Hip size and buttock gel add weight low and wide. This is easier to carry than weight on the chest, but harder to roll.
- Motion and warmth add weight too, because motors and heating elements aren't weightless. See our options.
See gel compared with standard. The configurator keeps a running total of the weight for your exact build, not an average for the size.
Helpful handling tools
- A hanging system. It solves storage and removes most of the need to reposition her. It is the best purchase you can make after the doll herself. See the storage guide.
- A moving cart or transfer board, if you move her between rooms often.
- A low, wide surface to work on. Waist height is better than floor level for everything.
If it is more than you want to handle
Choose the 152 cm build, and make that change before you order instead of wishing you had afterward. It weighs less, it is easier to store and it costs less, and you give up nothing in material, sculpting or finishing. It is the same silicone and the same approval process.
Her weight does help her settle naturally and hold a pose. Being able to move her helps more.
Common questions
Can one person move a full-size sex doll?
Most physically able adults can, with good technique and patience. Unpacking her on delivery day is much easier with two people.
Does a lighter build feel less realistic?
Her weight helps her settle naturally, so there is a real difference. For most owners, though, it matters less than being able to move her comfortably, and a doll that is awkward to move gets moved less.
How much does a sex doll weigh in her shipping crate?
Usually 40 to 67 kg in total, depending on the build, in a box about a meter and a half long. Plan for two people and a clear path on delivery day.
Do gel options add much weight?
Yes. Breast gel adds weight high up, and buttock gel adds it low and wide. The configurator shows the weight of your exact build. See gel vs standard.
What if she arrives damaged from shipping?
